According to this article, if the NSX does return it's possible that it will be a hybrid on a modfied Accord platform.   :(

I don't know.  Most people aren't interested in buying a NSX.  I wasn't impressed with the last one, which I had the opportunity to drive.  Kinda like a modified Vet....with half the power.

I think the NSX, if it does come, will be a money loser for Honda.

Agree.

Acura's been doing warmed over hondas for way too long.

Actually, maybe they need more original Acura only regular sporty cars (not cross over or SUV). A halo car is nice but for most of us not really practical or justifiable cost wise.

Hybrid I could live with. Porsche has been working on a hybrid super car and it actually sounds really interesting, so I think the concept has merit.

Accord platform, that's another story. I have trouble seeing a super car working on the same platform as the current, bloated, huge Accord...

That's my biggest issue, if in fact it's true.  Next, they will be releasing a next generation S2K built on a Civic platform.   :-[
