I concur with the projection of 2.5% of vehicles on the road in Canada by 2018 to be electric. That seems to be a reasonable target and in line with the orginal Ontario gov't mandate of 1 in 20 by 2020 (5%).

Rapid adoption at the municipal level of EV charging infrastructure will be the key to an on target EV rollout in Canada for late 2011 and early 2012. Communities and businesses need to begin their charging station installation programs now.
