A school of thought (in another thread) is that Honda's core products are doing fine...so there's not much to worry about.  The Accord, Civic, CR-V and Odyssey.

This article states it well though - there was a point where Honda could do no wrong.  And I don't think many people can argue that still exists.

I'll also add that the products are doing well are pretty old, and are more of a default choice as opposed to being innovative in any way.  The Odyssey being the exception to that.

I'd say the current generation Civic was quite a novel design when released. With it's huge success, we just get used to seeing them all the time, and they start to seem commonplace.
