Shot at Woodend Conservation Area in Niagara - the Nature Education Centre.  The birdbath reminded me of a mushroom (one of my favourite subjects) with frosting.   :)

Edit:  Image was far too large... reduced the size.
Teds nuts being one of your other favorite subjects...

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

Something to remind us that Spring is coming.

I just took this photo of the first tomato flower of the year. It's about 3/8" across.

Must be the slow season. No new posts in over two weeks.

In the meantime, the early tomato flowers are starting to turn into tomatoes.

Ice Ice Baby!

Went down to Lake Placid on Saturday and had some snow/ice build up in the wheel wells.

A beautiful day for taking pictures yesterday.  This is a field just south of Guelph.

^^ Nice pics!

Here's one I took after a heavy snowfall a couple of weeks ago. It was after midnight and I couldn't sleep, so went outside and took a few pics. It was very still and peaceful, not a breath of wind and not very cold at -2C. It looked a little different the next day when it got up to +8 and rained all day. That's the first time I ever saw it rain in February here, it's usually the coldest month of the winter.  :o

Nice peaceful scene, Schmengie!  :)

I love it when everything is white and still.

Also shot on Saturday.  I love old barns, whether they are decrepit or well-maintained.  Always beautiful.

Since I'm still awake, thought I'd share a fun one from last weekend.  Taken at Mountsberg Conservation Area, during the early part of the Maple Syrup Festival.

That's a gorgeous colour picture, Bob.
