I went for a walk in the park today and took some pics while it was snowing.

Nicely done, Dexer.  It's nice if you don't have to drive in it.

Thanks...and no kiddin' about the driving! It's the perfect combination of light snow and moderate temperatures that's turning the roads to grease. I saw two kids fall on Portage Avenue trying to cross to school and I saw two fender benders with people exchanging insurance info. I witnessed another dozen close calls.

I did a little macro work.

I'm growing a cherry tomato plant and I pruned a bit off it then planted the cutting. I didn't expect to see any signs of life but a tiny leaf has opened up. This leaf is only about 1/2" long.

A couple more snaps straight from the iPhone. Pretty amazing colour saturation and overall result for a cellphone, IMO.

As him what he thinks about his job when the wx is the sh1ts, half the instruments don't work, he's running low on fuel and loaded up to the roof liner with 45 gallon gasoline tanks.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

That would never happen - I'd be loaded up to the roof liner with 45 gallon drums of jet fuel.  :)

Most days I can't believe I get paid to do this, but some days all the money in the world isn't enough to make me want to do this.  :-\

New camera.  Action mode, no post-processing.  Haven't read the manual yet to see if there's a snow mode.

Love it!  Great perspective, and the people in the shot really give us a sense of the scale.  :)

Shot at Woodend Conservation Area in Niagara - the Nature Education Centre.  The birdbath reminded me of a mushroom (one of my favourite subjects) with frosting.   :)

Edit:  Image was far too large... reduced the size.
