I wonder if other manufacturers will follow suit?  Thoughts?

For more economical cars? Hell no, what 's the point? Not everyone have ipads and not everyone want their kids to use an ipad while in the car.

Kids get too much distraction now a days anyhow. I'll never get a car with the DVD player etc. They can shut up enjoy the scenery and learn to be patient like I had to do when I was growing up LOL.

No sure about iPad integration, but more useful accessories are available, ... ie, scented diaper holder.

Yes that's just what I want in front of my kids in a crash, a heavy sheet of glass.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

This is pretty cool

It looks cool but it doesn't look safe.  I don't want anybody fiddling with their Ipad and Iphone while driving.  Is it even considered legal in provinces like Quebec?  It's not in your hands but you're still operating it.

Apple and its competitors are trying to create software to make their hardware easier to use while driving.  Doesn't sound very promising.

Looks like a good candidate for smash and grab.  It's probably illegal here if you're using it to watch videos or email while driving.

I think manufacturers should get cars to drive themselves first before integrating all these electronic driving distractions into their products.
