This is what you need to own a Brit car.   If you can't quite read it it says Dim, Flicker, Off

Wasn't that on a Isuzu Impulse?
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

I haven't driven any super-exotics, but a few cars like an Esprit, Ferrari 308 and such, and none were as useful as a 911.  Also, none of them are as durable, and require much more frequent and expensive service.

And that is why I stayed away from many that I really would like to own. I think the shine of many of them wears thin after a while when you spend most of your time just trying to keep them running; forget about taking any of them half-way across the country.

I was looking at a 308 right up to a 360 Modena (if I could handle Kraft dinners for the next ten years), an Acura NSX, Lotus Esprits, even a 2nd gen Toyota MR-2 which reminds me of a 246 Dino, another car I have a soft spot for.

But looking at a thread where the owner had to do a clutch job on his F-360 showing the step by step pics of things being taken apart, I was very disappointed in the quality, and that was an early 2000s car.

Or motorcycle. I've seen and heard that before. Luckily things have improved.

Yes. And the Hyundai Scoupe had a Lotus Tuned suspension as well. Not sure how those cars handle.

1986 FERRARI MONDIAL in CALGARY, AB $34,900

But how would I get it all the way to Ontario. CAA only offers 200 km towing.  ;)

Nice, as long as the top is down. Something about Ferraris. Now if they would just price 550/575 Maranellos at the above price. Never mind, I still could not afford the maintenance.

4 seater Ferrari?  Yes, it's a Ferrari, but no one wants them.  Modial?  Perhaps the least desirable model of the last 30 years.

Still a Ferrari, nontheless.  8) 8) Think of it as a sunday family driver with the top down. Might not able to win any races with the likes of a Chrysler Sebring convertibles.

Looked at the 348GTS's, some are still outrageously priced. A few were very reasonable, but the thought of having to re-mortgage a house to pay for the repair bills is rather scary.

Cheaper than a 3 series in the UK.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

Reliability and maintenance costs aside, Ferrari's styling is hard to beat. Damn that is gorgeous.

For now, a red NSX-T is a good alternative.
