Congrats on the sale and purchase.
As somebody that went from a GTI to Corolla, I will say I'd be shocked if you don't enjoy the Crosstrek more as a daily driver. The only time I really miss my GTI is for those few minutes where you get some twisty roads all to yourself which is very rare around here.
Thanks.
And, yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m thinking. I almost have more fun driving the Yukon on the twisty roads here. In the Yukon, I can take the corners at 7/10ths, feel like I’m actually driving the vehicle, and still only be doing ten over the limit.
7/10ths in the GTI is still license-losing territory, and I just don’t have fun doing that on public roads anymore. And if I do want to take the chance, there’s always someone in the way.
