I've got my 2011 GLS auto less than a week ago. So far loving this car a lot. I needed a commuter and did not expect to actually like it that much. It feels speedy, brakes are great and with a ton of interior features it keeps me entertained on my way to work. The audio is a bit plain for my taste, but it'll do. I check satellite radio now and then surfing the channels. I am finally done with burning CDs - I keep a 4 gig USB stick loaded. The seats are super comfortable for me (might be not as comfortable for a not so skinny guy though). I love the lights of the panel. BT is nice and easy too. The only thing I'm still trying to get used to is the visibility. In this car I can't tell where the front end actually ends, so its a bit of a guess work at this point. Had to put some marks on the wall in my garage to know when to stop.
Overall, I'm impressed with a load of features in a vehicle which is so moderately priced. And it is actually fun to drive. When I was buying it, I test drove Sonata too, but did not feel I will need it as a commuter car. I was also thinking about the economy of this car (Elantra), but now that I find it fun to drive, my priorities shifted a bit
I still have less than 300 kms on it and it is 100% city rush hour driving. My average goes down every day and is currently at 9.9 kms/l. I'll post some pics if someone is interested after this weekend.
