I love this car's proportions, and I am impressed that Toyota was able to pull it off over 40 years ago.
That said, I was even more impressed that Datsun was able to offer something that had similar if not better performance, at a price that made it available to the masses....that car being the 240Z.
AND, history repeats itself. Lexus will be offering up the LFA, which is impressive. However, Nissan again does Toyota one better by offering the GTR which has better performance at 1/4 the price. Will the GTR ever be as desirable or collectible as the LFA? Not likely. But, it makes you wonder what Nissan could do if they sold a car priced $400,000 or more.
