For as much flack as these things get, they are purpose-built, which earns it more respect in my books than cross-activity vehicles that have no idea what they are for other than making their developers lots and lots of money. It's a big box, so it can carry more stuff. It has flexible cargo, so it can carry even more stuff. It has a torque-heavy, reasonably efficient motor, so it doesn't guzzle gas. It is cheap to own and maintain, making it a wise decision for long-term ownership. Overall there are a lot of things that stack up in its corner, but for me, those start to deteriorate with the idea of the Town & Country versus the Caravan. This makes perfect sense for $25K, but for $40? That's a tough pill to swallow, given the somewhat gruff nature of the underpinnings.
