You'll just have to figure that out for yourself . You will find someone just like me if you look back far enough .

photos of the 2012 Accent from the Toronto Auto Show.  Could not get inside shots as the doors were locked.

Saw it at the auto show - not a bad looking little car at all.

86 bhp/litre from an atmospheric engine in an economy car with 2011 emissions...that is pretty good. My 2003 BMW only had 76 bhp/litre and that was ( M3 excepted) the performance engine.

I really wish the Accent had improved this much in 2005 when I was in the market for a vehicle. Even then I liked some of the features, the driver's seat for example, both in firmness, adjustments etc.

I thought then it was not *enough* car for the money. Only 2 door, and horrible on-site aggressive "closer". I had a great sales person, who went to no end of trouble, but at the end of the day it was the "closer" who didn't close the deal, on an Accent, or an Echo on the lot, because he wouldn't meet me half, or even quarter way.

The Accent holds alot of promise , so the Kia Rio as well , below is pictures comparing the 2 .
I would go for the Kia because of the back wheel thing with the Accent hatch .

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

That's pretty frikken' cool!

Well I'm glad I read the part where it says the graphics highlight "New Thinking. New Possibilities." so at least I knew what they were at least trying to do.

I think it will be a completely ineffectual marketing piece - there is zero link of the benefit this offers to the product...and I'd extend that to their new slogan as well.  Who approves this stuff?

But that's MANY (most?) auto related commercials.  Nothing new here.

Dan , neat little video , a little "Dark City" & Caprios flic too and a little "Tron" in it
I noticed this video after yours finished

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuFaas4oJgs&NR=1

It clearly shows , in the video above , what a good looking little 4 door sedan it is , imo.
I much prefer this to the hatchback . I think its better looking , from the side , than the Elantra .
I quite like the looks of it , for a subcompact 4 door .
D.I. motor , 4 disc brakes . lots of features . 2394 lbs . This will be a big hit in subcompact sales .
I'm test driving it for sure .

Agree with TG.
