:rofl2:  A great example of why you shouldn't shoot people with a wide angle lens!

Wasn't me.  I was too busy timing.  ;D

Yeah that's suzuka blue that's Bryan's car.  I saw an Imola Orange the other day, now that is RARE!

S2KCA guy that sold his a while ago says only 34 were made in the world.  I'm not nuts about it...I like a brighter orange like on the Elise.

I remember seeing one at London Honda almost 3 years ago. Took a photo of it with my phone. I didn't know it was that rare of a color!  :o

When I purchased my S2000 my first choice was Indy Yellow and my second choice was New Formula Red.  I ended up with NFR and love it.  Indy Yellow is still a great colour on this car though.  Imola Orange is definitely one rare colour on an S2K!!

They also made Imola Orange for the NSX.  Here's one..Orange on Orange interior.  1 of 8 made in 2002.

I just got one this summer - I'm still smiling daily. WHat a cat.... I love it so much I am thinking of flipping my 05 for an 09 in a year or two in order to extened my ownership as long as possible. I just don't see anything out there or anything in the pipelines like this car. You know it's over for cars like this when honda is rumoured to replace it with a FWD hybrid.

That's a good strategy. The S2000 was always in a class of one and a landmark design that won't have a successor by Honda or any other automaker and will be missed by many. It is a true classic.

I am considering upgrading my 05 for an 09 in a couple years as well.  There is honestly not another roadster out there that really interests me.  Perhaps a 370Z, but I already have a VQ in the stable.  I have too much fun in my S2K to give it up for something else.

We saw a couple late S2K's on lots in the Us recently, as I was shocked at the value that can be found south of 49.  No way I'd consider a Canadian car after seeing just those limited prices.

When they first came out, I didn't think the looks were dynamic enough, but it's aged very well and the driving experience is insane.  The only thing I think that would come close in terms of experience would be a modded Miata.

For the used prices I see an AP2 for in the US, I'm strongly considering one of these and adding a Greddy turbo kit...

It certainly would make a heck of a fun car and the turbo kit would rectify one of the few shortcomings of the car in terms of improving low end torque. Tough to argue with the prices these are going for in the US too.

What kind of prices were you seeing?

Dealer had a pristine, but slightly "higher" mileage (75K-miles) 2002 for $12K and a nearly new (14K-miles) 2007 for $21K.

Can't find ANY S2K in Canada regardless of condition/mileage for $12K...

I looked at a mint, low(ish) mileage 2004 with about 30,000 miles on it for $17K.  It was flawless.

Yeah they are CHEAP in the US.

Supercharger > turbo, turbo's all have cooling issues and can't be run for long periods hard.  My supercharger has been reliable glad I did it.... partly as it is brutal on brakes now!

It's a street car...so no worries.  From what I've read, the Greddy kit is perfect for the street and has little of the issues of hi boost kits.  Pretty much makes the same power as your blower.
