I must have had a Gem MK8 Civic. I found it really quiet. Only time it made odd noises was when it was below -10 there was a squeak that came from around the boot area. As soon as the car warm it disappear. One thing I did hate tho with the Civic was it would make the most dreadful crash banging sounds when ever you went over a really hard bump. Also the clear coat was paper thin. Which I didn't like either. Somebody keyed all the panels the car once too at the bloody supper-market on St Patrick's I think was.
