^^425,000km when I sold it!

Magnificence!

And I drove it on the absolutely awesome dirt roads up Hockley way (is that what's its called?)  Every time I go up that way...regardless of what car I have...I drive those dirt roads.

Oh I remember very well.  That was the day I drove it too.  (Still sorry about those shifts...   :eye:

I've been on those roads a couple times since.....I love nice dirt roads.  I even made you take the Supra on a dirt road!

It's only half your fault.  The tranny in those care are...ahem...different.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

How many were on it when you bought it?

The "original" owner of a 1996 Porsche 993 in CT had just over 300,000 miles (about 500K kms) and that was 6 years ago. He still drives it as a year round daily driver. Engine at the time was never split open...original valve stems, etc.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

Yeah, something tells me he wouldn't have been one to subscribe to a gentle technique in shifting.  Hell, I never saw him drive anything other than as if his hair was on fire -- and that included the Highlander!

That must have been hilarious.  I can scrape the door handles if I push it.

Sure miss him around here.  Less than two months away from a crappy anniversary here.

Yea...he couldn't quite understand that you needed to make "N" a gear.  1-N-2.  Instead it was just 1-2 RAM for him!    :rofl2:

Me too.  Been thinking and talking about him a lot lately for various reasons, the big lug.

A new addition to the stables that I picked up this past August. Bad timing in many ways but I just could not turn it down.

A one-owner 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS with a 7-speed manual transmission and with...157 kilometers on it. Yes, one-five-seven kilometers. Basically a new car that was purchased July 2015. I connected my Durametric Pro diagnostic tester: 6.77 hours of run time on the engine and zero over-revs in all six ranges.

A few years ago when the new 991.2 3.0 liter twin turbos came out, I wanted one of these normally aspirated 911s. Turbos are all very nice, but I wanted a normally aspirated model.

Sorry, only photos from the dealer ad as I have been too busy breaking-in the new engine...

Since I see you're posting...how's the 911? Any regrets on getting this particular model? thx
I love it when a plan comes together.

Sorry, I'm not on here often and spend most of my time on dedicated sites, although even on those, a lot less now. The 991 is doing just great. I'm glad I snapped her up since I am not into the 992 generation with turbos and I am glad it was a manual (most of them have the PDK)

Any regrets on getting this particular model? thx

Absolutely not.
