When is the best time to do an autumn photoshoot?
If you talk about when it is better to do an autumn photo shoot, then give preference to mid-October. At this time of the year, the air temperature is often still positive, the leaves on the trees are already yellow, but have not completely fallen off yet. Plan your time.

I went to Cuba in November and saw the most amazing sunset on the Malecón, Havana. Huge waves hitting the ocean wall flooded the street to give reflections.

I went in 2017 and I'd say the country appeared to have more wealth and definitely more freedom than last time. Piles of small businesses about that tourists can actually use and buy from locals. We did not stay in a resort but instead in "casa" which is basically renting a room from a local person. Converting money was a little interesting. You can't get local currency out side the country (ie here) but their banks seem to be non-functional for all practical purposes. We had to exchange money in the back room of a restaurant down an alley.
