Just a little jealous of the eastern colours although this is a banner year here so far and oddly no wind blow them off all the trees.

Stopped in Canmore on the weekend on our way back from Vancouver, did some driving in Kananaskis country. Sunny, plus 20's. The guy at the ski shop where we rented bear spray was not overly excited about the bare rocky mountains this time of year:

Yeah, we were thinking the Crosstrek would have been 'right sized' for both Vancouver and Canmore. Saw them everywhere in both places, now that we notice them.  :D  That soft suspension would have been nice on the Smith-Dorrien washboard too

Hard to beat the RX as a long distance cruiser though

We had one as a pet for a few months years ago - well, my daughter did.  They raised them at her daycare, and gave them away for the summer.  We volunteered to take one.

No, he was  kinda slow from the temperature and looked delicate.  I saw him one evening, but it was too dark to get a good photo so I came back the next day and he was on the same plant and got the photo.

A couple of nights ago heard this droning that just kept on so I looked out the window and saw this Coast Guard Boey Tender at anchor.  Didn't leave until 4 pm the next day.  Engines run non stop.  Next day I saw it tied up in Owen Sound.
