Took a walk through the Cap St. Jacques nature park on the western edge of Montreal a couple of weekends ago.  Here are a few pics:

Got the yard winterized yesterday and timed it just right as it was a beautiful warm and calm day.  Good day for the final fire of the season in the pit.  Yard is really quiet now though with the water falls shut down.   :(

My iPhone 6.  Amazing device; those panoramic shots put my Nikon DSLR to shame.

I'm quite pleased with the image quality from my Samsung Galaxy S6.  Phones continue to improve.

From Nov 10-13 the missus and I headed into Robson Park, to Berg Lake.  The park is quiet this time of year, didn't see another soul.  Great trip, and easy on the missus as this is a rare November up there with the snow line still above the Berg Lake level.

Our first evening there, I snapped this interesting cloud formation from the shores of the lake.

No kidding, my $270 ASUS phone does better video than my cameras, photo quality is pretty decent too.

I can't say I'm ecstatic about winter...

Saw it on Saturday evening in Montreal West.  I took some photos but I don't think they came out too well.

I took those with my phone - they aren't the best - it always makes me laugh when the crappy little flash thinks it can light up the universe...
