Looks like you had the perfect day.

Yeah, actually yesterday couldn't of been a better day with the fam.  Beautiful fall day, country market, apple picking, walk in the woods with the pup, campfire with the kids, etc.  Twas a great day.  :-)

I know that area well Kurt. I ran the canal for 15 years - up Queen Elizabeth to the congress center and down Colonel Bye to the locks and through the arboretum. One of the things I miss about Ottawa.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

The kid was stuck in the city working this long weekend, so me and the missus took off to the mountains for some backcountry adventures.  We backpacked into the Mosquito Creek area in northern Banff, and conditions could be called more "winter" than fall.  Snapped this pick of her as we tore down camp...

I love this stretch of Hwy 307 that runs alongside Brereton Lake, in Whiteshell Provincial Park.

So many beautiful places in this country and I'll only ever see a fraction of them.  That's why I appreciate the pictures!
