Non-smoker here.  My father has smoked for almost 50 years.  My mother quit smoking in 1986 after she suffered a stroke.  She has recently taken it up again.  >:( I remind her of my objection to it each time I see her.  My sister is a smoker as well.

I tried, when I was like 8, almost died asphyxiated. I have asthma so smoking is a real NO-NO.

Mom smokes, less than years ago, but still smokes.

I assume you've tripped once or twice in your life too!  Have you given up walking as well??   :rofl2:

I've witnessed an incredible change in the car business. I remember when everyone in the dealership smoked at their desks and filthy ashtrays were everywhere. Right now there isn't a single smoker out of the 12 salespeople and managers in our department.

On a related note, has anyone ever known anyone that regretted quitting smoking?

Nope, haven't given up walking yet.  But I learned to look down when I walk.  It also works for not stepping on dog poop.  :D

I don't smoke, but when I was in the Caymans one thing I noticed is that the percentage of people from Europe (especially the UK) in their early 20's that smoke must be way higher than the percentage in Canada. Almost everyone I hung out with down there smoked except for me. I guess it doesn't help that smokes are 3-4 dollars a pack.

It's called TeeVa See(?). I can't spell it. Really nice owner, no alcohol, greaaaat pies and teas. Everything made in house. Good stuff.
