Well, the Fit is the one that appealed to us most (obviously)- but only you can say which appeals most to you based on the criteria that matter most to you.  For us, "pratical" and "fun to drive" were the two most important requirements.  The Fit aced both.  Nearly 6 months later, we'd still make the same choice.

The Fit is (a) go!

Silver LX stick.  I like the look of the Sport but too much price difference for what you got, and I didn't want the lower profile tires (rural roads).  I think I got a good price $1000 off for owning a Honda, $500 off for buying a stick, and $600 or so off from the dealer.  Seems like today might be the last of some of these discounts, who knows (even the dealers don't). Great time at the dealer no pressure, no added fees.

Thanks for all the help!

PS  Anyone want to buy some new "real nice" alloy wheels that "Fit" a Honda. Look sort of like pizzas.

Heh. Congrats on the car!

You 'might' be able to trade the OEM alloys and tires in for something decent at a tire shop, especially if you take them in brand new. At work they faxed around quotes for a certain replacement tire for our new pickups, including trade in of the OEM rubber, and ended up getting a really good deal.

Congrats!  Put some snows on the pizza rims come November and find some nice alloys for the stock tires and you're good to go.
