Since I'm a Canadian and living in Canada, and not some backwards non-metric nutjob, I have no idea of what those numbers mean. But, I'll play. You're comparing the V6 Camry to the Camaro to illustrate the incredible fuel economy of the Camaro? The Camry has ~270hp if memory serves and is a very large car. It's a miracle that the Camaro can achieve the same? No.
Now, if the Camaro posted 1.8L Corolla numbers, then I'd fall over.
You live in Canada? NICE! How is the igloo? I guess I really should have posted a comparison between the EPA measurments and a 6 dog sled-dog team to make it even easier to understand.
If there were Canadian numbers they would be posted..... but is it all that much of stretch to understand and compare vehicles using the EPA system? same testing procedures - so it is as apples to apples as can be had.
Not a miracle - but this is a rear drive, 304 hp car that sips regular gas to the tune of less powerful front drive sedans.
When was the last time you saw a vehicle like that? never, right.
It would seem, based on the test drive numbers here for the Matrix 2.4, that the Camaro may just match that FE - is that good enough?
