Just tried it really quick. The sound bar is pretty good but the bass is a bit small. If you have a big room and want descent bass you might want something a big bigger

Didn't really want an external sub and this one has gotten some pretty good reviews. It's mainly so we can hear the dialog when watching shows in our living room. We have a nice LG sound bar with sub in my man cave for sports, movies, and gaming.
Well it arrived right on time this morning. Simple setup and away we went. I am no audiophile or expert but I'm very pleased with this.and if anything it's too loud. Perfect for hearing dialog and a decent amount of bass. Watching an action movie right now and it's really enhancing the experience.

Nice! Those soundbars make a huge difference in sound quality over the flimsy sounding built-in units on most tvs. I bought this one on sale last year for our big tv upstairs because we couldn't put up with the terrible sound quality any longer.

Strangely enough the 12 year old 37" Sony in our bedroom sounds fine as doesn't need one. Our big 10yr old Panasonic plasma downstairs is connected to a 5.1 surround system but the built-in speaker actually sounds pretty good on its own. Cabinets were a lot bigger on the older tvs so that helps.
Yeah we have an older Panasonic Plasma too and the sound was always fine. I think in the last 10 years TV's have gotten bigger and better picture quality but the sound has gotten worse. With the popularity so sound bars I think it's a way for TV manufacturers to make a bit more money by selling you one of their matching sound bars.

mainly just crafty things around the house...headboards made from old doors, shelves...she made our kitchen table from individual boards...small cabinets (by the door to put shoes, etc in)...i'll see what i've got in my phone and post them.

Awesome stuff DJ. Looks great. Honestly never heard of that type of saw, only have used table saws for those types of cuts.

i had no idea what it was either...which is funny since "I'm the man of the house".

she likes doing projects like this...if we sold our house and bought something on the edge of the city, a large garage/workshop would be very attractive to her.

thanks guys...it's her hobby so she enjoys doing it in her spare time...she also kind of finished the basement...she put up some wooden flooring on the walls and ceiling, made a couple of dividers out of old cabinet doors (that she then painted) and put some old metal sheets on the walls (kind of like old metal barn roof/wall sheets)...the basement is a bit of a mess right now, but i'll grab a photo (just don't mind the mess

).
