Picked up this RCA Victor 1960s record player off of Kijiji. Was owned by a woman who died last year in her late '90s and she had bought it new in the '60s. I bought it from her son-in-law who said he's the only one who ever used it, since he started dating his wife in the late '60s. It's in excellent condition and works perfectly. Even came with the manual.

Nice found. I noticed the record selector also has 16rpm in addition to 33, 45 speed and older 78rpm. Never seen (even older?) 16rpm vinyl record...

I purchased and installed this door chain the other day for my Mother's apartment door. I notice this warning on the flip side of the packaging. Seemed odd to me. I suppose anything USA made needs these types of warnings for products finished with carcinogens?

The cabinetry looks in mint condition for it's age.

Trust me, it will not be painted. The cabinetry is definitely in great condition. Just a few small scratches on top but I'm ok with some patina.

It seems pretty decent. I don't have any records here to try yet so I've only listened to the radio a bit, but before I picked it up the guy I got it from put a record on for me and I thought it sounded quite good.

After over 10 years of service, it was time to upgrade to a cordless electric lawnmower. Perfect size and significantly lighter than the old one. Both 18 inches.
I love it when a plan comes together.

My dad got some fancy schmancy Stihl battery powered one because it was lighter and easier to push than his self propelled gas mower.

40V. Kind of got tired with managing the cord. Plus, this makes it easy for the rest of the family to use :)

i made the switch last year and picked up an 80V unit...it was on sale at Lowe's at the time ($549, taxes in for the mower, rapid charger and two batteries)...i really like it...it's much quieter than the gas mower, it's also lighter, and i don't need to bother with oil, gas or any maintenance required with an engine (spark plugs, carbs, air filter, etc)...i have what i consider a "typical" city lot (so not that big) and i can usually cut the whole thing with one battery, but if the grass is longer and/or thicker, i may need to swap batteries about 80% of the way through...no big deal though...takes about 25 minutes to cut the lawn here.

I had almost same B&D left model as yours, it serves me well for +/- 16 years. I tried cordless acid/lead batter lawnmower, the battery died the 2nd year, bigl deception. Bought the lowest cost cord electric mower I found as replacement, still in use today but my next one in few more years would be a cordless Lithium battery type.

Yeah, I saw them on YT but need to have my landscape improved to be doable.
