Neat.  The guy who used to live at our house had a degree in audio engineering and production...then a degree (and Dean's List) from Berkeley College of Music (for guitar).

His latest FB post was:  "Just a note to my engineer buddies all Waves plugs are on sale for $29!!!! for 48 hours!! www.waves.com

No pics.  Installed E track on the walls of the trailer, installed 4 flush mounted 6000 lb (8 billion kg for AB and DKaz  ;) :stick: :run:) floor tie downs, and in the last week gave the floor 3 coats of epoxy painted finish (figured it can't hurt to protect it from water, at least from the top since the bottom is exposed..  Probably shouldn't have gone with white  ;D feckin' bright in there if the sun hits it just right.  Maybe I'll buy a can of box liner spray and sprinkle it around to take some of the shine away.  And WTH, who doesn't like a grippy floor?

Some good deals at CT today.  They currently have a four day blow-out sale event going on.  On top of that, for every $150 you spend today you get a $30 promo card.  I picked up almost $600 worth of stuff and the cashier rang it up in 3 separate transactions and i got 3 x $30 promo cards.  Thought that was pretty good of her.  8) I believe the promo card offer is today only.

My nearest Crappy Tire is good about that too.  I bet you are a regular customer....do you put items on your "to buy" list into the phone app and get alerts when they go on sale?  I find for household good (moreso that hardware or automotive), sales prices are a steal but regular pricing is better at Wal-Mart.  So the app or e-mail alerts are super handy.

Yes I'm a regular.  I've actually written the store manager in the past praising the superior service I get from one of their employees on a consistent basis.  They have really good store clerks in there.  Contrast that to the big store in the city where staff skitters away when you spot them in an aisle way.   ::).

I have used the app in the past for items that I need.  I took advantage of the sale today to pick up a bunch of stuff I'd like to have as opposed to actual need.  For example, I finally picked up a rolling tool chest for the garage rather than having my tools spread all over the place.  Been dithering on that purchase since I bought my current house ten years ago.  ;D

Good to hear.  I often have bad service at Canadian Tire.  I give other locations, a chance, and they rarely are much better.   Happy with Home Hardware, and Lowes.  But sometimes, your options are limited.  Closest place to get extra ammo when I am pissed off!  ;D

so, my bimmer can officially buy beer on its own now.  turned 18 years old, 2 months ago.
built feb 2001.

not sure how old the radiator is, and i wasn't going to replace it until it leaks or something, but it is getting up there in age.

called some parts store, and they don't stock it.  but if they had it, it would be $1000 they said.

so i ordered one off rock auto.  will keep it in the spare parts bin, or maybe in the fall, replace it along with coolant reservoir tank.  i've replace waterpump and hoses few years ago, along with coolants, so they will be good for just under 10 years still.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Cooling system parts are good things to change before they fail. Often a failure is a 'mobility kill', stranding you on the side of the road.

Can also take the whole engine with it.

On my Mazda pickup that I drove forever I changed my rad, hoses, etc early and never had to worry about that system for the life of the truck. Would have loved to change the heater core and valves too, but they seemed to build the truck around those parts

you mean, the reportedly $1,000 radiator?  not sure.   i don't even wanna find out how much it costs at a dealership.

Typically, radiators can be repaired if they leak....as long as it's not a catastrophic thing.

if you have a need for an autoclave, don't spend thousand of dollars
Just use your Instant Pot

Not as nice as vmans bathroom...but, re-did our main entrance.
Added a bench.

Top is what the whole room looked like.  All varnished boards.

Now painted.

Re-did the laundry room.  New floor, walls, ceiling, LED light...looks nice now.

Aside from hospitals, the only other places I am aware of that have a need for autoclaves are body-piercing shops.  What are you sterilizing at home with your Instant Pot.  :rofl2:
