So far we have weekend trips booked to Jellystone Park in Woodstock, Bar Harbor, Maine, Baxter State Park, Maine, and Oak Bay in St. Stephen.  Definitely want to do more as well.

There's only one Jellystone Park.

I booked W/E sites, so I'm guessing if they are big enough for a trailer they will be for a tent.  :)

Cool.  My brother goes to some of those regularly with his pop-up trailer and kids.

So, as I write in another thread, our 13 year old Kenmore Elite Dishwasher started giving us the dreaded 7 count clean warning LED. This  signifies either the heater element is toast or the control board is faulty. I measured the heating element resistance at 13 to 14 ohms so it fell within specs so it meant that the control board was likely the culprit. I sourced a new control board in Oakville at $299 so I looked around. I found one for $211 in Hamilton so I went an got it this morning. I did look at Amazon and ebay but I prefer to deal with actuaal stores when I can.
After installing the new board I found that the old board definitely over heated - see pic.
Interestingly, Whirlpool is the manufacturer and provides discount on your new washer if the control board overheats and you want to go the  new dishwasher route.

With all the sunny and warm weather we've been having we were looking for a little more shade in the backyard. So we purchased a 12' x 12' sail at Lowes on line store the other day for mounting to the pergola.
I got around to installing it this afternoon. It works well providing nice shade, looks pretty good I think and the price was right at $80 delivered plus my time to install.

I thought Baxter had a vehicle length limit or maybe that was only certain areas. Where we were was talking to a guy in a pickup that had a small box attached to the back and was just inside the limit. Either way, still one of my favorite parks. Can't wait to go back and climb more peaks

Dang! it looks blown up rather than just overheated  :o
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Yup. What's crazy is that we usually put the dishwasher on before we leave the house in the morning.
Could have burnt the house down.
