Didn't know it only fit low profile cards.  My video card is just an old AMD Radeon HD7750.  I don't play any games on the computer.  I bought it originally for my old computer that didn't have onboard HDMI.  This one does.  For some reason, when using the onboard HDMI at 1080p, the vertical resolution doesn't show up right.  1" is cut off from the top and bottom.  Upgraded the driver, same problem.  So I already had this one, so I stuck it in.  Works fine, and it's a much better card.  1gb dedicated vs 128mb dedicated with the onboard...

Ordered this new Chef knife today.

I've had this Chef's knife for a few months now but forgot to post up a pic or review of it.

It's an expensive knife, no question about it.....but it will last me for the rest of my life so I don't mind paying the price.  The solid Masur Birch handle is incredible, solid, and very well balanced to the rest of the knife.  As for the blade, it's fawking ridiculously sharp.  I am not well versed in steel like Jaeger is, but it's made from Carbide MC63 powdered steel (which again means absolutely nothing to me).  Very very happy with the purchase over the last couple of months, would certainly recommend.

That is nice!

Ordered this as a surprise for my sweetheart.  He buys me fresh flowers every few weeks, and his dad is currently in the final stages of passing away from cancer.  He loves to cook (like me) and has always wanted a pressure cooker.  I thought this might be a nice way to offer an equally thoughtful gift for no reason at all, and I'm hoping that this new toy will be a helpful distraction for him.

There's a lot of junk out there, and I don't buy junk.  I chose this model based on the testing done by the folks at America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated (a show I watch every week).  It ended up being their Best Buy/Highly Recommended.  Can't wait to see how he likes it!  It should be arriving before the end of the week.

And besides... here's what America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated had to say about electric pressure cookers:  https://www.cooksillustrated.com/equipment_reviews/1399-electric-pressure-cookers

No thanks.

Too bad they didn't actually test the good ones!

With the ones they tested, I'd take a stovetop model over those too.  But I'd take an Instant Pot over a stove top model every time.

Instant Pot Pressure cookers are among the best of any pressure cooker on the market and routinely score better than stove top models.  Plus it has a "crock pot" mode if you do any crock pot cooking.  IMO, the only thing I don't like about electric cookers is they take longer to release the pressure.  But, by the same token, that means more of the heat is stored making it ultimately more efficient.  Plus they are easier to keep at your desired temp and you're able to have consistent cooking time and time again.

To each their own and YMMV.

It's unsafe to make from cast iron, actually.  If somehow you over-pressure, stainless steel ones will expand.  Cast iron ones would explode like a bomb.  Cast iron doesn't stretch...it cracks.  You can find used, old style pressure cookers made of cast...but I wouldn't use one.  Ever.  Would be a nice kitchen decoration, however.  And they look boss with all of the old-timey tightening knobs on them!

The Instant Pot is stainless.  A nice perk with the Instant Pot is you can brown your meats INSIDE the Instant Pot or do a mirepoix before you start your pressure cooking.  Or you can take the inner pot right out and use it as a stove top pot.  Other electric ones you have to brown your stuff outside the cooker, then transfer it in.

Dad had one of the cast aluminum ones with all the 'boss' fittings on it. He made it into a still with the condenser lines coming out of the pressure relief valve hole. ;D

Nice.  My dad has a similar sized John Deere with a front loader.  He ended up getting some meaty tractor tires, filled them with liquid ballast, and also added a bucket on the back of the tractor that attaches to the hitch and filled it with lead tire weights (about 250 lbs).  Significantly improved the tractors traction with the loader on.

Believe me, as a kid I used to try  ;D.  Dad bought the tractor in 1989.  Uses it regularly and it still runs good.  I should check the hour meter next time I'm there.
