That looks absolutely fantastic.
Yes, doesn't it though eh? Normally there's so many bugs and mosquitoes around that you can't sit out at night. This will allow them that peace and take in their gardening and bird watching in comfort. He's 70 now and still works 6 days a week at his car dealership. She is almost 65 and teaches at university and college. On the 7th day they don't rest but take care of the gardening. :fall:
It's a very nice property.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

That addition looks great and perfectly integrated to the house!  Very classy and well done!

Love the tile they used for the flooring as well.  Did they put in in-floor heating?

The addition was very well done in terms of blending with the original house. Is it year round or 3 season?
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

The floor was done in cork. I'm not familiar with it but I guess you can purchase cork in much the smae manner as laminate flooring. And, it is printed in hi def wood finish. It's apparently warmer on the feet than laminate.

It's year round. There is a foundation with 5' crawlspace underneath where the HVAC ducting is.

I actually thought is was ceramic as we used porcelain tile in our bath that has a similar wood finish.  I used cork in my basement for its thermal and acoustic qualities.

Love your sister's place Railton, and that addition is just perfect, very nice!

Great looking trailer Bridge, I agree with the others, something like that is the only way you'd see me sleeping out in the woods, lol.

Yeah, he even has a steel building off to the side buried into the trees such that you can't see it where he has had at times numerous collectable vehicles. I haven't been in there for a few years and I'm not sure there's anything left - they've all been sold off. He is an old pick-up truck guy.

What are the details on that?  I am in the market for a new Chef's knife as my ten year old Henckel (a top model) has a cracked tip from being dropped on the tile floor.

Recently purchased a Merkur Slant 37c. It's an old school double edge or DE razor. First slant razor in my collection.

The Slant acts like a guillotine. Slicing more than chopping hair follicles during a pass. We're talking 100 year old technology.  :P

Zero pressure required as these thinks shave close. If somewhat lazy I use the "J=Hook" technique as opposed to varying directional passes.

Man, that's beautiful.  What will you be using to sharpen it?

I've been using this but it's getting due for replacement.

I purchased a Miyabi sharpening stone with it.  The issue though is that I'm not very good at sharpening knives.  :(

What kind of sharpening tool is that?
