Thanks for the tip on these!

We barbecue steadily all year long, so the grills should be well worth the money.

As you point out, everything is unusually moist.  And the steaks will be too..and have perfect, bold grilling marks (if you care about grill marks.)
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Got my custom monitors today!

I had 2 sets of these.  They need replacing.  Had one set for racing/working and one set for sleeping.  I miss them.  Great investment.

What did these ones set you back if I might ask?

I think they are part of a communication system for racing.

I got mine done in the USA.  Was actually at a hunting expo and they were doing them for shooting.  Turns out they had different version for different sports.  I got 2 pairs.

This.  Custom molded hearing protection and communication system in one.  Comfortable as hell.

Yes.

They are custom molded to my ears.   They are what musicians use on stage.   They cut out the outside noise that hurts your ears,  while piping audio directly into your ear canal.

Best headphones you can buy.

There's a million places that do these.  But you have to have your ear molds.

Did you get your ear molds back?

Didn't get them back,  but molds are easy and free for me.

There are a bunch of companies that do it.   The cheapest I found was $200.   But just like a car as I added options they were $400.

Acs comes with all the features standard,  and only charged $20 for shipping.   Some US companies wanted $100 just for shipping to Canada.

ACS is a high end company doing these for major musicians and they have the F1 contract.

Despite their stature the head of sales for North America emailed and called me directly at 11pm on a weekend to answer my questions.   I was floored.

Kevlar wires,  silicon soft molded plugs and they included a dehumidifier as well.

I can't believe how good these things sound.

I've had some good headphones before, but this puts everything to shame.  Like having a drum set in your ears amazing.  And the clarity geezus.

It's a little box you put them in to remove the moisture.  When you sweat the electronics get moist and over time they can damage the circuits.  So to make them last as long as possible humidifier is worth it.
