Yeah, she doesn't know (yet).  ;D

From what I understand those these drum sets are very quiet, so sound should not be an issue. Put on headphones, hook up the iPhone, and bash away

I was looking to get a cheap electronic drum version for the grandchild, and that got me thinking

Costco had a sale on Canada Day, ordered a barbecue to replace our ancient Broil King. Arrived yesterday and working on putting it together. Will be nice to have a large grill surface, our old 2 burner got overloaded pretty easily in garden season

Oh, Napoleon. Nice!

We’ve got a little portable Napoleon that we use for camping. Must have had it 15 years now bumping around in the back of the trailer and still looks/works like new (okay, maybe it’s a little greasy  :P )

I’m sure you’ll get lots of use out of that.

Congrats!

Biggest BBQ mistake I ever made was selling my 25 year old Napoleon.

Everything you can buy today feels like junk in comparison.

The Weber that I use is over 30 years old. Original burners and only one starter replacement.

I've put new grills and flavorizer bars into it. I'm not sure it'll ever die.

Yea. Every component on mine was heavy duty. Which somewhat became part of the problem.

Was rather huge for a 3 burner BBQ...that was mostly used for solo grilling.

The tub on the Broil King will never die probably, but all the parts inside have been changed when I entered the scene a decade ago and revived the grill. Great thing with these name brands is the parts are so available

Still grills just fine, but getting tired of playing tetris every time I barbecue. One thing I have to figure out is my grillgrates will be too small now, and I love those things

I have an old Broil King that's almost 20 YO. No cover. Just sits outside and takes the abuse. Replace burner tubes and the box is now deformed. Will likely take the non deformed box off the old mans BBQ whose burner tubes are shot  (same model) and install my propane guts into it (his is NG). and get another 20 years? He's looking to go smaller.

I also got a Broil King 4 burners with the side stove. It's been solid as I barely maintain it. I bought stainless grill last year it's the only thing I changed, almost 10 years now

I got the same BBQ about three years ago. Managed to find a Kijiji deal on it & got it for less than Costco was selling it for; while still brand new in the box. Only complaint is that I find it gets too hot! Need to literally start it & put it on low. The sear burner on the side is awesome though, use it for steaks all the time.

Got the 32 inch smart TV mounted and set up in the gazebo.  Now I can watch sports and some other streaming services.  Being able to watch the blue jays and F1 races outside will be nice.  Got an outdoor cover so shouldn’t get wet and an outdoor power bar so it’s surge protected.  I was worried that the I would need a wifi range extender but it works just fine and the sound is more than adequate.

It really is.  Got YouTube music on now watching 80’s music videos while having some beers with my wife.

Ha, I wouldn’t go that far.  She is tolerating it but the music videos is bringing her around.

Sweet! I like that...TV's in the outdoor living space are really popular in the southern US, but not often seen up here. I'd probably take that down in the off-season, even with the cover, it doesn't look like it would get much protection from the elements in that location.

It’s definitely something we will take down come October.  It’s fairly high up and under the roof, so should only be the stuff that blows under which shouldn’t be much.  The cover goes the whole way around, on top and under.  Easy to just flip the front up so you can watch.  Not bad for just over $200 for the TV, mount, cover, and a 4 year protection plan.

Had a look at the garage door, found a number of loose bolts and screws and even some missing ones. Fixed that and lubed everything with silicone spray, hinges, rollers, and the big springs. Sounds a lot smoother now
