Thanks Gents.
I just need to find/scrounge a garbage can lid that can fit over the burner area for Winterizing and keeping the rain and snow off. Ideally, a windy garbage day when the garbage cans and lids blow all over the place. ;D

You could also bungee a small tarp, maybe?  Nicely done, sir.
Yeah, the guy over the fence uses that system for his pits but I'm looking for something not quite so obvious.
Think a large round metal or plastic disc of some sort. The garbage can lid idea...with a piece of interlocking brick to hold it down.
Railton

Pizza tray...though it depends on how big the opening is.
Good one Ron but, it would have to be for a Boston Deep Dish and over 20" in Dia. and made of some sort of non-rusting metal.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

How about a table top that fits over the entire unit.  That way it can double as a table.  Might be able to find one that fits at a reasonable price this time of year and just file, or toss the base away.

Firepit looks good btw.  Nice work!

I found this one but, it's not a deep dish.

Yeah, I like that idea too. Maybe a nice Carrera Marble table someone would be tossing out. That way I wouldn't have to use a an interlocking brick to hold it down. ;D

Too expensive and I don't need the handles.

Thinking about this a bit more - I think a table top will be too heavy and awkward to lift and move some place.
I'm thinking I'll stick to the garbage can lid and brick for now.

You may have to buy it.  Everyone has city bins now, no?

Nope, not here - still a mish-mash of garbage receptacles used.

Mazda 6 rims and tires. Picked these up for my son's Mazda 3 which got a flat - unfortunately in the sidewall of one of the tires. The rest were getting low on tread. These were reasonable and fit nice.

Dishwasher stopped washing yesterday (see things that irritate me thread).  I started looking at Bosch dishwashers on the Costco website then decided I would dig into this one more.  Pulled the washer last night, pulled the circulation pump and motor.  Shaft from the pump into the motor sleeve was full of grit and the plastic sleeve is chewed up a bit.  Cleaned it up, put it back together and its running again.

I ordered a circulation pump/motor off amazon today for $150.  Local parts store was $300.  When it quits again I'll replace it and hopefully that takes care of it for a while.  If not, its new dishwasher time.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Put new Weather Tech mats in the front of the Frontier today and a new K&N air filter for the Z3M.  Now it's time to shop for new winter wheels and tires for the Frontier.

Kobota Canada is offering ridiculous deals on BX series lawn type tractor, despite having no stock  ???, that I snapped this unit up along with a blower.

Enjoying the experience.   Borrowed the neighbours set of forks, which are meant for a 75 HP skid steer so too heavy (will need to drop another 1K for a lighter set) and unloaded a U haul truck full of furniture without breaking a sweat and unloaded a 150 lb. would stove off the son's new Fi150 which would have been a real problem otherwise.  Lift off truck, transport to deck and then dolly into house.  So nice.

Mrs. Railton was involved in a roll-over as a passenger about 30 years ago - still feeling the effects from it in her back and neck. She goes to the Chiro for it pretty often and in a pinch I also perform the same adjustments on her - mostly pulls.
Anyways, I bought her this Teeter Inverter Table the other day to help out. Fingers crossed.

I use them. Worthwhile. They do lengthen the spine a bit for a little time.  Good first thing out of bed.  They don't fix anything though.

Yeah, not a permanent fix just something to counter gravity.

I've got enough room @ 26x48 which was the maximum allowed on my lot 20 years ago.  I've got a creek running on one side of my lot which on the surface is cool for kids and ascetics, but it puts me more under the control of the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority which has final authority on the building permit.  Today I would have not got the permit.  They still have jurisdiction on all waterfront to 300 feet back.  ::)

I've since kicked out all neighbours boats when I bought my big tractor 3 years ago.  Building is super tight.  Not a mouse ever.  Oddly I don't even have spiders.  Must not like concrete and steel.  Without the extra boats and my son's ex travel trailer I've got a ton of space.  I'll soon have 2 sets of forks and 2 bucks and I'll leave those outside.

Nice!  I’ve had one for almost 25 years now and it works great for reliving spinal stress.  I believe it is the series 2 model. Use mine for doing sit-ups as well  Might take a while to get used to being upside down though.  My wife uses it from time to time but doesn’t like going completely vertical.  Doesn’t bother me at all.  Reminds me that I haven’t used it in a while.

Hope you have lots of room for permanent setup because it’s a pita to move around.  Mine folds up but is still heavy and awkward.
