Husky Power washers - Are they any good?
« on: November 19, 2008, 07:58:45 pm »
After my experience with power washers failing I was going to swear off them. The latest one is a Simoniz from CDN Tire. It is a POS. Crapped out after 10 months was repaired (1 1/2 months in repair) and it died again this summer.

Home Depot has a Husky 1650 PSI model on sale this weekend at 50% off for $89. I think they are made exclusively for Home Depot.

Anyone had any experience with this brand. I am weakening.
If you want more in life you have to make an effort.

I replaced my Karcher with a Husky in summer 07 and it worked okay all this year.

You powerwashing a dog? Shirley Not!  :o

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

The Husky Brand washers are probably made for them by another builder who does it under contract wih the private label brand. They should be just as good as the next brand for the money as the Home Depot does not like to sell junk at all.  :)

That's correct.  Home Depot likes to sell average run of the mill stuff.
