I was looking at these -- but they are $10,000 a pair.

I saw those once and they are truly beautiful then I also saw the price tag and started to choke. Maybe one day.  I'd love to try them at home to hear how much a difference they make though.

Wing are those the BMW DM320's speakers as they are built for music studio's. I have had several pair of BMW speakers and still actually have one pair but cannot obtain a new speaker from Britain as they don't supply the parts they should. I'll stick with my Bose 501's and 901's which are serving me extremly well. I know I can get replacemnt speakers if I ever have to this way.  :)

Barrie, they are B&W not BMW ;)

And they are 704's, they no longer make the 300 series speakers from what I can see.  These are $10,000 a pair.

I doubt I'll ever buy a pair, I may spring for CM series in the $2000 range if I feel rich some day.

My buddy has a full B&W surround system. Speakers were 18K for 5, the majority of that budget was on the fronts (they look similar to your dream pair in the picture). They sound sweet, but that is a lot of cake and I'm afraid I'm not that much of an audiophile.
