It's 20.3 inches deep, so 19" is cutting it close if that includes the top overhang...

Possible suggestions James; EQ3 (Market) , Polanco (Wellington Village) , Van Leeuwens (Market), Blueprint Interiors (Wellington Village) and for something a little bit different, a little antique Chinese shop in the Glebe on Bank just South of Sunnyside, East side. Forget the name of it.

Yeah link doesn't work, but that one is 23" deep, looks ok too, but price is crazy!

Thanks CUT, I'll have to check out some of those.  Already tried EQ3 online as I get 50% off their stuff but didn't see 1 thing that was even close to what I wanted.

Maybe I'll get this one... doesn't look "cheap"

I bought this unit last Christmas when it was on sale. It is indeed good quality but assembly was a bit of a pain. One of my requirements were doors because I have a one year old at home.

One problem I have with this unit is the glass window on the doors are on the small side. What this means is depending on where the IR receiver is located on your DVD/CableBox/Receiver, signals from your remote will be blocked by the frame of the door.

I tried to find a unit like this that would fit my 42" Sony rear-projection LCD and accommodate my audio and video equipment, but no luck. The TV's about 16" deep at the bottom and needs to be secured with a strap, so I had no choice but to use the Sony stand. It's OK, but  I can't find a matching audio stand with glass doors. Right now I'm using an old wood-grain stand that I bought about 20 years ago. I want to keep it because it holds everything including my turntable and the remotes work with the glass doors closed. Does anyone know of a way to refinish it so matches the TV stand more closely?

Schmengie,

You could use Silver Contact paper to cover the wood.

^^^^^ Thanks, UmroAyyar, but that looks like waaayyyy too much work.  ;D  I want to cover the the whole thing, the insides and the edges of the doors etc, so I was thinking more along the line of a spray-on finish of some kind.

Do you know of something that's designed for an application like this? Thanks! ;D

Bad news wing, I measured 17" deep if you want the door to close. 18" deep with some overhang. 20"+ will stick out like a sour thumb. However, the backing is actually a cardboard type of material. So you cut to fit or I guess just don't install the backing.

Width of both the left and right compartment is 18" wide. Middle compartment is 19" wide.

Thanks.

It's 18" deep so I could just cut the cardboard out behind the CD player a bit  Measured all my devices all are 17" wide.

Yeah price is steep but the depth is great. I have an old Denon 5 disc carousal and still have 6" of depth. The high price gets you dovetailed joints, solid wood doors and the backing is actual wood, not cardboard. The depth does suck up room though so not the best choice if space is at a premium.

Next month eh? hmmmm They have a very similar one on sale right now but its black.

Also this one is nice and real wood, but slightly wider at 62" but that may be too wide for my space.

This one will be $75 off at Costco starting Thursday November 6.

The local brick store has one on the floor I'm going to go look at it, maybe tonight and then order from Costco if we like it.
