IMO, yes.

I have read a number of articles in BMW Magazine, Bimmer mag, and on websites about the new 7 Series. Allegedly, it handles like a lot smaller car than it is...allegedly. It is too large a car for my wants/needs but I think it will appeal to those who want/need the larger sedan. A friend in Calgary may get one later this Fall, once the car is out, and if so, I will get a chance to drive it at that time.

The new TT 4.4L V8 should be nice regardless of which vehicle it is in.

I love the front end treatment. The back is okay, not too bad. But the front end is gorgeous. Im sure that twin turbo V8 will be a monstrosity.

It needs a 5 litre V12.

Why, the TT 4.4L V8 will be over 400hp.....???

Plus 450 lbft of torque starting at 1750rpm....

Sounds OK to me, don't need extra cost/gas of a V12 IMO.

For passion and legend status. And so someone can nick it and stick it in a sports car again!

Better looking than the Bangled one.

According to reports I have read, it looks big (and is) but drives much smaller. Suppossed to be a superb handler.

Should be interesting comparing the dimension then. :)

That new nose looks like an answer to the Euland  pedestrian safety regs. Not unattractive either.

I don't understand why anyone would buy a 7 series instead of a Quattoporte.

Perhaps fewer trips to the dealer. Note how I use the singular of dealer in reference to the Italian Stallion.

Perhaps.  It's just as well...when I see the person I know (s)he's one of "us"...a car person that is.

It just too big for my liking.  :-\

Isn't that the whole point of a 7 series?

Twin Turbo V8... that's the strongest of coz, but I don't mind the 740i/Li with the familiar but tuned 3.0L Twin Turbo six. BMW Canada should offer it so that the inline sixes really cover the entire product range sold in Canada...
