The current global economic problems are very BIG, whether or not ppl recognize it or not......could well be more far-reaching and calamitous than any natural disaster.

Was the Great Depression of the 30s only a rich person problem? Not likely, everyone was impacted by that time.

A monster credit shortage and a global recession/depression will impact all ppl - jobs will be lost, homes devalued and some lost to foreclosure, etc.

Already there are job losses, and not just in the US, the mfg sector in Canada is being hurt by declining auto sales, declining sales of home appliaces/renovation materials; and now there is concern that Canada's strong suit - it's resources and commodities will be in less demand.

Everyone will be hurt.

Ontario has lost near 225,000 jobs already in the manufacturing sector alone. This includes the automotive as well as many other areas of production as well. I really try to buy Canadian products if i can find them but its getting harder to do almost every day it seems.  :)

I'm just reading The Fourth Horseman by Andrew Nikiforuk.  Its subtitle, "a short history of epidemics, plagues, famine and other scourges" will give you an idea of what kind of big coming event it might suggest.

But seriously, it's a fascinating book; the chapter on syphilis offers a whole new view on history.
So if somewhere, somehow, a microbe is moving or changing, it could indeed be the start of "something big."

^^^^Well that's just it.  I have no idea what it is (Like I've said a million times).  Just the feeling I got was a calamity on par with a giant natural disaster.  I guess in the worldwide scope of things, I guess this could be seen as an equally disturbing, devastating disaster.  I've said I really don't know how to expertly predict what it is I "see".  My control over it is pretty poor...So who knows, maybe this is the something big.  I dunno...
