Is that shock of delight or shock of dismay?  That's only a $4000 premium over the US price.  Furthermore, the R32 beat the 2008 STI in a C&D comparison, and the STI costs $40k-$46k.

Yes, the US price is $33K for a brand new car....but this one is used. Personally I think its high but I do understand that the price is an issue of supply/demand.

Cripes, I drove right past that dealership this morning too.   If I'd known, I would've stopped in for a peek.  Too bad you can't get a proper transmission in that car ... otherwise, yeeehaw!  Love it in Candy White too.

I've seen grey-market R34 Skyline GTRs selling in the States for about US$70,000.  That's the price of a new R35 GT-R.

It happens everywhere, and has nothing to do with manufacturers burning Canada or anything like that.

3 words: "supply and demand".

It's an asking price, too.  Who knows what the final selling price will be...  :)

Did you leave your glasses on the night table ;)

I never said anything about Canada getting burnt....I admitted this was an issue of supply and demand.

Not too crazy about the fabric color & material-type combo, says bad table cloth flavors too much.

The pattern/colours look like they came from the inside of a sleeping bag.

For those interested in seeing more bits of the 2009 Golf, check out the links below: They are in foreign language I believe it's Icelandic, but I'm not sure.

Cheers.

This one allows you to configure different colors, there are some nice colors on it, go to the bottom left of page, called konfigurator(simple enough to understand in english  ;D )
