2.0T with tiptronic should be $35K, not $42K.  US 2.0T quattro with tip is $32,700.

it is annoying that the prices in canada are so much higher than the states.    :'(

And we have to sign 3 year I-phone contracts were in the US they only have to sign a 2 year contract.
In a world where the dead are returning to life, the word "trouble" loses much of its meaning.

It's a shame the Avant is auto-only and priced significantly higher than the outgoing model.

Think some of the prices are on the high side (base car, 3.2L, Avant), regardless of content. But, Audi's not after volume so the shoe fits. For customers wanting higher contented models these should offer a good proposition.

Keeping on Audi pricing news, the A3 2.0T Quattro AT has been priced at $36,9 and $39,950 for the Premium.

Could you even fit into A3?
I think I could get in but you probably need a crowbar to get me out

Not comfortably with the pana roof. I wouldn't buy one as the roof is too low and it's generally too small inside, but the 2.0T should have been available with Quattro from the get-go.

Waaaay back then, a lot of customers went with the 4 door GTI because of the lack of Quattro on the A3.

i just sat in the new 2009 a4 while my avant was being serviced today.   they did a great job of updating the design.  the car has more of an edge inside and out giving the car a more athletic appearance.   it's as though they squashed the overall car.    the service manager insisted that they made major improvements to handling to the new car.   unfortnately, i had a meeting,  so i didn't have the opportunity to confirm this first hand.   :'(   they also made subtle changes to the a3 to follow the new a4 design direction.  although i must note, one of the 2009 a3's parked to the car i was checking out was optioned with some seriously ugly alloys. hope they are not standard.  ick   no manual with the a3 quattro???  huh?  what are they thinking!!??   giant dwarf, call those monkeys up and straighten them out!!!

It only took them 3 years to put Quattro in the A3, give them at least 2 for the manual transmission.

So the cars and pricing is out, guess that means it is a month away to build and read the specs online on the official site.
Typical VW/Audi Canada way.  :P

I just talked to the Audi dealer this afternoon and the pricing here lines up with what he told  me , I am going tomorrow to test drive the new 09 A4. its a 3.2 auto, although I am interested in the A4 manual 2.0T.

I was also dissapointed with the Avant's price :(

I still have a year left till I make a decision, hopefully they'll have the manual then (and with a lower price)

Also noticed that Audi already started advertising tha A4's price (today's Globe & Mail)
