Very, very impressive performance by the CTS-V. If anyone doubted that it was "the real deal," this should satisfy them.
Someone will undoubtedly point out that, if the track or the drivers were different, it could have been the Bimmer winning by a narrow margin instead of the Caddy. True. But the real point, in my opinion, is that Cadillac absolutely succeeded in building a sport sedan that is as the same level as the legendary M5. That'll blow some brand stereotypes out to sea.
