Mitsubishi is too conservative and that is why they aren't doing too good right now.  They should get the regular i here already, and quit letting Americans design vehicles for them (even though the Japanese execs forced the new Galant and Endeavor on them). Get the gas i here asap and follow up soon with the electric version.
