St Clair College has a small glass one cylinder engine that actually runs around 1000rpm on liquid alcohol. I photograped it running in 1981 when I was able to get it to run for the very 1st time. Quite a sight to actually see combustion taking place. Rrocket I am surprised you haven't seen it yet at the school as its a really neat project to work on. This small engine reminds a bit of it.  :)

Wow that sounds pretty amazing, especially for an engingeering numpty like me!
