on an entirely tangential topic, my car was towed away on illegal parking 8 minutes into rush hour..   cost me $80 for 2 minutes it was hooked up to tow car...  At least i didn't have to find a ride to city impound lot and wait 3 hours. :p

300 MPH is correct as it was on British telley with Jeramy Clarkson I believe doing it last year.  :)

I'll bet a Veyron is a better car in every way, though.  But if the folks at SSC would like to prove me wrong, simply send me a test car with a full gas tank.  :D
