Quote
One of South America's few remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed on the border between Brazil and Peru.

I think it's great, that in this day and age of share prices, spreadsheets and the interweb, that there are still some people greatly unaffected by the Western level of greed.  Well done them I say.

Funny... they don't look spotted to me...

 ;D

Agree that it's amazing that they've never known "civilization."  Not that it's such a great thing, really.

Hope they don't go contact them and ruin their way of life.  I'm sure it's better than "civilization" and all the ills associated with it.

FUNAI, which is the gov foundation that takes care about tribes and stuff, never makes contact unless the tribe is being threatening or in danger of any kind.

Kill them off before they want land claims and social assistance. :P

That's the trouble with some "scientists".  Tell them you doubt what they say and they just have to go out and bring you back a specimen.  Just flying over them that low has likely altered that tribe's perception of the world around them.  They are now "tainted".  Why does "civilized" man think he has to go in and bring these people into the modern world?  Sometimes, scientists are the DUMBEST people on earth.

They better do a research on that as well.

That may end up being a case of the blind studying the blind.

Those folks are never gonna be left alone again now that they have been discovered. I am sure they must be terrified of what that aircraft flying by has ment to them. They know now that they are not alone and will be invaded by outsiders before long.  :(
