Nice! Did you go into that bakery? Last time we were in St. Andrews it wasn't open yet but it looks like a great spot. Apparently owned by the couple that owns the "Pansy Patch" which is my favourite house in the town.
The owner gave us a tour of the bakery last year when it was still under construction. It's the old Masonic Lodge building and a really cool place. There's a concert hall upstairs. Lots of delays getting it opened, partly due to supply issues and getting staff, but mostly because the owner is so damn detail oriented and has to have everything just right before he finally opens. He wasn't there yesterday so we didn't get a chance to ask him about it.
The owners are also building a new home just outside the Town limits. A lot different than the Pansy Patch house as it's a really modern design and cantilevers off a cliff edge on a really steep lot.. We were visiting a couple yesterday that live a few houses away and it's quite a place with an incredible view!
We assumed they were going to sell the Pansy Patch home but nope, the new place is just a getaway from the hustle and bustle of St Andrews...lol Eccentric people for sure!
