We did the Cabot Trail over the weekend, saw quite a few what I would consider "special" cars for out East.  At least one large Corvette club (and another smaller group), probably 40-50 cars in total.  A black McLaren was doing the loop, as well as a number of 911s.  The coolest vehicle we saw though was parked over at Fort Louisbourg on Saturday.  A bright red adventure vehicle on a Mercedes chassis.  From googling, looks like it was a Unimog camper truck, and it was fairly new.  God only know the price tag on that thing!

Nice, and great time of year to go there.  I've seen some really cool stuff every trip through the Cabot Trail.  Always some nice explorer type yachts tied up in Baddeck as well, but probably not so many this time of year.

This thing sounded great. So raw and mechanical.

Was in Halifax this weekend and drove by the Porsche dealership. Parked outside their brand new, not completed building (adjacent to their old, smaller building) was a brand new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. It's the first Panamera wagon I've seen and it looked incredible.

Wife and I took the dog for a nice long walk by the ocean yesterday.  We parked in the lot in front of a beach.  Got back to the truck and sat there for a second enjoying the view when a Volvo S90 pulls in beside us and out jumps a girl wearing a bikini and a toque and into the water she goes.  Her partner was filming it all while wearing a giant parka...lol.  It was -2 and sunny but always a good breeze by the ocean to make it seem a little colder.   That water is way too cold for most people to go into even in mid-summer and she was in there swimming around for a good 5 minutes at least.   :o

Anyways, speaking of Volvos.  My wife went shopping with my sister yesterday and they went in her new XC-40 T5.  My wife is not normally a fan of CUV/SUVs but she really liked this one.  Said it was the ideal size and very comfortable.  Last time they went out together they took my BILs new Highlander and she took no interest in that one at all.

Haha, I was too busy cramming down food.    There was a trail  run going on that day so I assume it was one of the participants of that.  I was half expecting to see the video posted online.

Wow, I haven't seen a 1 in person yet. I've seen quite a few 2s though...

I can only see the end of the plates, but it looks like it's the Toronto fleet press car... we had it a few months ago. Quebec green plates ending in 942.

Cobourg is 100 km from Don Valley and 401 , they would need a charge to get back to the GTA

Mark Richardson lives in Cobourg... it's likely him. I want to say there's someone else in the Brighton area, but I can't remember offhand.

I stop at a red light and ahead of me is an old, beat-up Hyundai XG. Just as I was thinking I haven't seem any of these in awhile, a shiny clean Ioniq5 pulls up next to it in the middle lane. Lots of roads travelled by Hyundai between those two!

All over the place here, deliveries of pre-orders are well under way. My neighbour's EV6 has arrived too.
