I was out walking with my wife this afternoon, and as we approached a 4 way stop, I noticed a car further up the hill, parked facing away from me. I didn't recognise the make or model (take my car fan membership card!), but it was compact and white with black accents. As I got a little closer I couldn't tell what it was but I thought "wow, that looks damn good. Sporty, and the black on white looks great".

Anyway, as I got closer I finally realised it was a........... new Toyota Corolla XSE.  ;D

You can hand in your man card on the way out. Please shut the door.

That Ford LTD cop  car was a real boat.

And that was small compared with stuff like this:

Nope... :(
1964 Impala
Wheelbase   3025 mm (119 in)
Length   5315 mm (209.3 in)

1977 LTD
Wheelbase   3073 mm   121 inches
Length   5692 mm   224.1 inches

Saw a bunch of interesting stuff this weekend. I guess everyone was out enjoying the nice weather before they put their sports cars away. Some highlights:

911 SC in guards red with three piece BBS mesh wheels and the whale tail spoiler
McLaren 720S in teal
Two Corvette C8s
An orange C7 Z06
A new Bullitt Mustang
And at the BMW dealer, an M2 CS on gold wheels.

Damn! You are right!  :banghead: Such subtle differences.  Never the same car twice.  No one wants the same car twice.  Not like today...

But...same shi# different year...not likely any difference in overall size.  That'd be super funny if it was bigger than the LTD but the '64 was not... :P :-[

15 Corvettes on a cruise  in Rigaud including a baby blue C8.

I was heading down to Quebec City on Sunday morning, and heading the other way was a platoon of C7's, plus a few isolated ones fown the road. We probably saw the same cars! Sounds like people converging towards, or driving in a club meet / rally!

I spent three nights in Whiteshell Provincial Park this week and did a little driving.  I saw three 1999-2006 Chev/GMC pickups with one dead daytime running light and all were on the left side.

 I think that was a factory option standard item.  Or they had some Germans working for them at the time.  Or maybe it was expat Brits...they suck at wiring.  Last name Lucas or something like that.

Many people had their toys out last weekend. On one drive, started with a '67-68 Mustang Fastback, then a mid-'70s Eldorado 'vert (with the top down), followed by a very loud late-model Lambo. Then on the freeway, a white Citroën SM passed me in the left lane

My 2006 Diesel GMC does that lol, half the time it works. So far it has me stumped!

Trade-ins on that hot 500L  ;D

I bet bought at auction to serve as showroom candy / traffic builders. Nice profit potential too if bought at wholesale.

Saw a white C8 Corvette with dark grey stripes, looked amazing! Best colour combo I've seen so far. Blue and red don't really do it for me on this car.

The weirdest thing about the C8 is that I think the current wheel selection isn't great. When you see when with aftermarket wheels they look so much more special.

Yeah, the contrasty bits just look so good against white. Same with an Exige:

I saw a blue C8 the other day and it didn't look nearly as exotic.

A 1974 Plymouth Valiant Brougham.  First offered in the 1974 model year, the Brougham came with crushed velour upholstery and many other luxury interior appointments, according to allpar.com.  Engine choices were the 225 cu in slant-six and the 318 V8.

The car was in very good condition, save for the missing grill trim.
