The TR7 is an early one with the fixed roof which is less desirable. But the body looks in great shape with a neat colour.

Saw my first Audi E-Tron in the flesh yesterday not far from my house.  Keep seeing this lovely 928 around my hood as well.  Three times within the last week.  Also, starting to see lots of Teslas around, mostly Model 3s but did see a new Model S yesterday.  Saw two Model 3s at the marina yesterday, which seemed kind of odd.

Last week, one day I have seen more Chevy Bolt on the road than Tesla Model 3, it was really a weird day (here in QC)  :o

In my 'burb the Model 3 outnumbers the Corolla, to the point of becoming invisible. New Corollas are really good-looking though! One Bolt made my head turn around though, a black one with a great set of aftermarket alloys in anthracite, had a real impact on overal looks and proportions.

collectibles?

The Golf Cab is building a following, and prices are rising for good units. The TR7 has a pretty good price point for the hobby car world, and that wedge shape is distinctive today.

Saw many wonderful machines, but have no pix of them. Most passing by on the street. Bimmers and Benzes a dime a dozen, but a lot of Ferraris, Lambos and even spied one Mercedes SLR McLaren (very awesome side pipes).

Spotted an Opel Ampera today - not sure if it was authentic, or if someone re-badged their first-gen Volt.

The Ampera has a different front end I think.

Correct, front & rear end of Ampera were different from the Volt. Unknown if the Ampera seen by Scaerio was legit (private?) import or a modified Volt

Funny thing is the Vauxhall Ampera & Chevrolet Volt were both available in UK and the Opel Ampera & Chevy Volt in sale in the Euro zone (without mentioning the Holden Volt in Australia & New Zealand).

When I said re-badged I really meant modded/converted - more than just the badges were different.

I’d love to have an El Camino hauling the dirt bikes around. Would be killer.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

On Sunday I took a drive to Lachute on the 148, doubled back, crossed over to Ontario at Hawksbury, and took 17 back home.  On the Quebec side, I encountered a bright green 2CV, and on the Ontario side, I passed a house that had at least 4 Fieros in the driveway.

Not the weekend I guess, but I spotted a few interesting cars at the auction in Vancouver today. One is the VW Phaeton, the top salami model yet with the W12 engine, I’d love to buy it for around 3 grand lol. You definitely don’t see those everyday. Other was this absolutely mint looking Mazda 929 (sold for $1600 I believe). And then this M4 that appears to be slowly returning to the earth. There’s a mysterious lineup of 2015 BMW’s there, some had mileage written on the windows, 1100km, one had 1477km. They appeared to have been sitting for at least 5 years. Strange.
