On my daily evening walk, saw a clean '80 something beige/brown Buick Riviera. I noticed it first by its front blue plate /white digits (Ontario).

Chrysler 300M in very good condition.  From the plate letters, I'm assuming this car has had the same owner for a long time, if not from new.

The new neighnours are moving in accross the street, they have a car outside under a car cover while they paint the garage ("men and priorities" said my wife...I did the same  ;D ).

Real car people are rare around here. I caught a brief glimpse of the thing as they uncovered it late in the day to store it inside. It looks like a JDM Skyline, big wing on the back, deep but not obnoxious exhaust note, looks to be a light champagne-metallic hue, expensive-looking BBS-style wheels. Looks too babied to be a drift toy.

Probably not a tuner kid either, main car is a recent Q5, stock, and 2nd car is a mint 2000-2004 Civic sedan. And that house was listed for 925k$.

Doing a week-end road trip with my SW2, sorry no picture, I was surprised to see a full size pick-up pulled on its 4 wheels by a big motorhome...
Maybe that their only vehicle. I know in the past, Saturn -S- were a common choice of car being pull on its 4 wheels, being light to "reduce" I guess, RV consomption.

These days, let say I was expecting more a combo like this one: Smart EV pulled on trailer... https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=26932&start=10#p541930, a Spark EV or something this size for once at destination, doing local  road trip

Yeah, I’ve seen that before. Best one was a giant RV pulling a pickup, and the pickup had a Harley in the bed!  :rofl2:

Wow, but the 2nd trailer behind the pick-up for the boat was missing  ;D

He has a small business switching vintage card into electric.

A friend and I were discussing doing just that.   Thinking the wife's XJ6 might be a good candidate

Taking our daily walk last evening we passed a new Chevy Malibu. Probably the 4th one I see since this generation launched - rare. First thought, "man, they really nailed the styling on this". Second thought, remembering sitting in it at the auto show last January and thinking it really had sport sedan proportions from the driver's seat, low cowl and all. And that unit was only 29k$. Third thought, this is probably our next "RIP" post in the news thread  :banghead:

Went to a friend's place i haven't seen in 10 years.  The guy rebuilt a 1974(i think) porsche 911 targa with2.7l flat 6.  So nice.. took it for a rip to a BBQ place.  Man that sound is so nice.  Think that was my first Porsche ride beside a boxer.   That thing is so small and basic its hilarious.
Then he has humvee from a client. We took that around too. The hummer is surprisingly fun and comfortable.   He has a small business switching vintage card into electric.

That Targa is sweet!!

Some nice custom touches, looks like he widened the front & rear fender flares... kinda Singer like... I'd rock that all day long!!

A guy who's part of the group I walk dogs with on the weekend just got a new (to him) car.  He got a 2013 Buick Encore.  I put on a brave face and congratulated him on his purchase, but internally, I was wanting to reprimand him for spending money on such a miserable vehicle from a miserable brand.

Is that "colour" selected by focus group to answer those grinding about offering only black, white and 50 shade of grey option?  :surrend:
Saw Bolt EV wearing that color code GHC (Oasis blue),  Definitively not my cup of tea...

ps: We need a wider selection of emojis !

I think that colour is great, it reminds me of Porsche's Miami Blue.
