Out for beers on Main last night, walked by this. I don't lust after muscle cars all that much, but this thing was stunning. Buddy I was with isn't a car guy and he just kept asking, "it's nice, but why wouldn't you just buy a new Mustang instead? Aren't those better?"  ;D

I would like that but with new running gear.  So the entire chassis from a new one, the interior too, and the body of the old one.  They're probably about the same size again too...so who knows...maybe the designer did it on purpose and is just waiting from someone to figure it out.  It's like how seats from a first gen Taurus bolt right into a '57 Chevy.  Bets the guy had a project car at home and wanted an easy solution to better seats than what was offered in 1957.  Who will notice if I make teh seat bolt pattern the same?  So it's entirely possible a 2015+ Mustang chassis bolts right onto a 1969 Mustang! (I'm dreaming of course...but wouldn't that be the greatest thing ever? Hello Dynacorn, hello insurance auction Mustang!)

I can't recall the last time I saw a BMW I8.  Spotted in Cottonwood, AZ, about 100 miles north of Phoenix.

Saw an orange i8 roadster in the showroom a couple weeks ago, it's such a great looking car but reviews of the driving experience seem to be mixed.

I hope to be there in my Mini...we shall see if she is fixed by then....
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

This car does not exist. The 155 was a 4 door sedan only, with one wagon being built.

I need to do some research here...

Rover initially designed it...so that counts for me!

Also, the British Monarchy is German....

You know your car is small when it's completely blocked from view by a Mini.  ;D

It's crazy how big the Mini looks in comparison.

I did, but there's a couple of nicks in the paint from the plate mounting bracket so I put it back on.   I'll get some touch up paint and see if that works.

It's the higher belt-line of newer cars that makes the difference.  Takes away a lot of the driving enjoyment as well, not to mention the looks.
