I'm heading to Fargo, ND this weekend for the 13th Annual Volkswagens in the Valley show. A few years ago at a local VW show, a number of cars from North Dakota made the trip to Winnipeg. I was very impressed with the variety and quality of cars shown by the club so, I'm heading south to attend their show. I'll be posting pics early next week.

The club is drawing for a 1973 Beetle on Saturday. That would be a great prize.

I'd forgotten all about it until last week when I had to fly to Winnipeg. Glad it's not required for domestic flights at least.

So do except for the pontoon ribbing on the doors. Is that to make it buoyant in water?

Hahahhahaha....I believe it works like a hydrofoil!! Yeah, those door protectors are a lot much.

I had a great time at the Volkswagens in the Valley show today in Fargo. Lots of Beetles, oldest was a 1949 model, and more Type 2s in one location than I had ever seen before.

I'll post the pics once I return to Winnipeg on Monday.

Cycling races in downtown Galt (Cambridge) yesterday.

Lead car MB CLS550 and the follow car (medical) MB GLE 63S.

Funny watching that porker GLE going through the corners trying to keep up with the bikes but that V8 did sound awesome.

Me too, always a sucker for Hudsons. . The roof on that Buick Invicta with the crazy offset pillars is pretty cool as well.
